Since the company's foundation in 1946, it has grown from a small forge to a excellent center of metal-treatment. Our customers benefit particularly from the unique synergy potential, resulting from the close cooperation between RÜBIG aluminum, -plant engineering, -heat treatment and -forging technologies.
It's this knowledge and experience of the group in all technologies what makes our metal so durable! The group has 400 employees, acting in the interests of our customers - nationally and internationally.
The RÜBIG engine technology division is the youngest branch of the company. The activities include the development and manufacturing of high-performance kart engines.
Hardening is a key technology!
Smaller, faster, easier and a maximum of possible life span are the modern demands for tools and components made from aluminum and steel material. Each component is subjected to individual strain, and we only maximize it's life span by using specific heat treatment.
The manifold offered services vary from the core competence of the company, vacuum hardening and MICROPULS® - plasma nitriding to case hardening, induction hardening, vacuum brazing, gas nitriding and annealing. Furthermore, material consulting and damage analysis are arranged.

RÜBIG aluminum stands for highest quality and best possible relation between yield strength, fracture strain and longitudinal strength.
The outcome of this are components free of residual stress and with lowest deformation! For the present up to 250,000 engine parts per year are treated with the new technique at the location in Wels, a further step is already planned. The components are usually cylinder heads of various european engine manufacturers, but also high-strength chassis components, aluminium die cast rims and aircraft components should be treated.
