This carburator is executed as a mambrane carburator. 

The stock carburator setting covers a wide range of air pressure and air temperature conditions. The carburator setting has to be changed according to air pressure and air temperature. 

OEM Carb-setting: M=185 / T=52 / B=50 / I=80

If the engine has a poor throttle response (using the correct main jet), use following carb setting of the bypass- (B) and transition-(T) jet:

 T=56 / B=54 / I = 84  

In the below listed table, you can find the correct main-jetting (M) depending on air pressure and air temperature.

Attention: A wrong carburator jetting can cause engine damage!

Furthermore, it is to ensure strict compliance with the maximum exhaust gas temperature of 580° C. 

If the exhaust gas temperature is higher, the carburetor jetting must be adjusted (more fat). If the exhaust gas temperature despite adjusted jetting is still too high, the membrane has to be replaced.

Carburetor jetting MIKUNI

This carburetor is executed as a membrane carburetor.

The stock carburetor setting covers a wide range of air pressure and air temperature conditions.

 

OEM carb setting:

 

High speed nozzle:150
Low speed nozzle:70
Set screws high speed:1,5 rotations open
Set screws low speed:1,5 rotations open

In below listed table, you can find the correct main-jetting (high and low speed) depending on air pressure and air temperature.

Depending on the temperature, the set screws for low and high speed can be opened and turned down, but not less than one rotation. A new jetting would be required.
